RESUMO

Após identificarem a necessidade da capacitação e desenvolvimento social dos idosos da região do bairro Cajuru em Curitiba, seis alunas do curso de Administração criaram a Fundação Rejuvenescer, que visa promover a qualidade de vida dos idosos por meio de Projetos que oferecem cursos e oficinas, onde a habilidade e os gostos que os participantes já possuem são identificados, e, posteriormente, capacitados no sentido do aprimoramento das técnicas necessárias para o bom desenvolvimento destes idosos no que diz respeito à qualidade de vida e auto-estima, bem como, para a obtenção de produtos finais de qualidade, que serão comercializados pelos próprios idosos, em feiras, eventos e etc, a fim de integrá-los, novamente, à sociedade, levando a população a reconhecer e valorizar a importância dos idosos na comunidade.

ABSTRACT

After identifying the need of capacity and social development of the elderly people from Cajuru neighborhood in the city of Curitiba, six students from Business Administration have created the “Fundação Rejuvenescer”, which aims to promote life quality for elderlies through projects that offer courses and workshops, on which the participants skills and preferences are identified and, subsequently, trained for the necessary techniques to improvement for the proper development of this group regarding life quality and self-esteem, as well as to obtain quality on their products, which will be sold by the elderlies in fairs, events, etc. in order to integrate them again into society, helping them to be recognized and valued by the population and showing their importance to the community.
