RESUMO

Os jogos desportivos tornaram-se, nos últimos anos, conteúdos hegemônicos, o “carro chefe”, das aulas de Educação Física, principalmente no Ensino Fundamental II, onde as aulas são embasadas muitas vezes nas modalidades esportivas. O handebol por sua vez, é uma modalidade importantíssima neste contexto, pois, proporciona ao professor, uma possibilidade enorme de agregar valores aos educandos, sendo que a sua aplicação não deve resumir-se somente aos ensinamentos dos fundamentos da modalidade. Desta forma, o esporte educacional passa a ser uma grande ferramenta auxiliadora na busca pela socialização dos alunos, garantindo a eles laços de amizade que contribuam para o seu desenvolvimento como crianças, adolescente e no futuro como pessoas adultas e cidadãs inclusas na sociedade.

ABSTRACT

The sports games have became in recent years, content hegemonic, the “flagship” of Physical Education classes, especially in the Middle School, where classes are often informed decisions in sports. Handball in turn, is a important modality in the context, therefore, provides the teacher with a huge chance to add value to students, and their application can not be reduced solely to the teaching of the fundamentals of the sport. Thus, the sport education becomes a great helper tool in the quest for the socialization of students, promising them friendships that contribute to their development as children, adolescents and in the future as adults and included citizens in society.
