Today, as a matter of lack of time and change the routine, the population does not create habits of regular exercise. People havebecome listless and resign themselves to what is easier. Studies have shown us that physical inactivity is a major factor in the cause of death worldwide.
The physical activity becomes increasingly important in physical and psychological development of the person, as well as in creating a healthy lifestyle at any age and condition.
Physical exercise is any activity aimedat maintaining or improving the physical condition, providing harmonious movements of the body.
These movements are essential for the proper development of the person, because it promotes a therapeutic effect both in terms of self esteem, or in the act of socialization.
The practice of regular or frequent exercise, not only strengthens the muscles and the cardiovascular system.Some argue that this practice stimulates the immune system, prevent disease, moderate cholesterol and help prevent obesity and improve mental health.
Exercise is essential for good development, as well as disease prevention and quality of life, so must be encouraged from an early age, if possible should be integrated in the daily activities of the child as well as integrate other activities.As already mentioned there are several reasons why we should practice regular physical exercise, here are the main:

▪ Helps control weight
▪ Improves cardiovascular and respiratory function
▪ Reduces the risk factors for coronary artery disease
▪ Decreases body fat
▪ Maintains or increases muscle mass▪ Increases bone mass
▪ Power improvement of immune function
▪ Improved sense of well-being and self-esteem
However, despite the benefits associated with sport, with risks and it is necessary that this activity is driven by professionals in order to attain the objectives effectively.
In order to obtain the best efficacy of exercise we should always bearin mind some aspects such as: getting active on a regular basis so that they provide a feeling of pleasure, or if the individual operates a business which he says nothing, continuing this practice is doomed to failure, you must have the ability to develop certain types of exercise and the person must be able to differentiate and define how far it can go. We can not start with activities with highstress, this increase should be planned and gradual, associated with the activity - to practice physical activities should be aware of our limitations and propensity to cause injuries, all exercises should be appropriate to our physical.
Sedentary lifestyle concerns not physical exercise on a regular basis and enhances various diseases and health problems. This phenomenon hasbeen termed a disease of the century and affects thousands of people worldwide and is closely linked to laziness and obesity. The truth is that this phenomenon is not just a lifestyle choice, but is a risk factor for health (about 70% of its population does not engage in regular exercise), causing some health problems, as diseases cardiovascular disease, fractures from falls, osteoporosis, backpain, among others.

With today's hectic lifestyle, children practice less physical activity than in the past. Today's children become listless and lazy and do not lose the opportunity to play Nintendo or computer.
