RESUMO
Aborda-se neste trabalho uma analise aplicando teorias pedagógicas e didáticas atuais sobre as funções do professorado, que reflete algumas características essenciais da sua atuação e algumas alternativas de solução de problemas detectados neste contexto. Partindo de considerações gerais sobre a função profissional do professorado, alem disso são tratados alguns aspectos fundamentais das suas relações com os alunos no processo de ensino-aprendizagem em termos de sugestões gerais para o comportamento de professores e professoras, nas que se argumentam as possibilidades práticas de aplicação. Implícita na caracterização aprecia-se uma visão analítica do processo de formação escolar e do importante rol da didática, baseado num modelo teórico que atinge particularmente ao mesmo.

ABSTRACT
In this paper an analysis based on innovative pedagogy and didactics theories is carried out. It refers about the functions of the teachers and underlies some essential characteristics in their actuations as well as some solutions and alternatives to solve the problems detected in this context. Based in general considerations about the professional function of the teachers some fundamental aspects are considered in relation to the pupils in the learning-teaching process providing some general suggestions for their actuation. This way, some practical possibilities are explained. During the characterization, an analytical vision of the scholarship formation process is presented including also the importance of the didactics based in a theoretical model provided.
