Jeff Bezos Founder and CEO of Amazon.com, elected by Forbes magazine the 40 most important people in the world and 26th richest in the world. Considered the slayer of printed books, he created eBook. In 1964, in Albuquerque, New Mexico was born Jeffrey Preston, son of Jacklyn Gise, who received Bezos surname when his mother remarried in 1968, with Miguel Bezos, a Cuban coming to the U.S. through a program of humanitarian aid.
