Ceph: Sistema de arquivos distribuído Linux de escala Petabyte

RESUMO

O trabalho foi realizado com o intuito de entender o principal objetivo do

projeto analisado, assim como identificar o problema ou solução a ser resolvida, a

origem da ferramenta, seu funcionamento, informações mais aprofundadas,

aplicação do software, licença, vantagens e desvantagens. A importância da

realização do trabalho decorre do fato de que pôde mostrar a enorme quantidade de

possibilidades e recursos que podem surgir para resolver ou minimizar problemas ou

dificuldades relacionadas aos sistemas de arquivos distribuídos de alta

disponibilidade e de escala petabyte hoje em dia. Especificamente esse trabalho foi

desenvolvido com base no tema pré-definido em sala de aula, sendo esse o projeto

Ceph.

ABSTRACT

The study was conducted in order to understand the main goal of the project

analyzed, as well as identifying the problem or solution to be resolved, the origin of

the tool, its operation, further information, application software, license, advantages

and disadvantages. The importance of completing the work arises from the fact that

he could show the enormous amount of resources and opportunities that may arise

to resolve or minimize problems or difficulties related to distributed file systems and

highly available petabyte scale nowadays. Specifically this study was developed

based on pre-defined theme in the classroom, making the Ceph project.
