New orthographic agreement of the Portuguese language and its implications for teaching

RESUMO

O objetivo deste artigo é investigar a situação atual do Novo Acordo Ortográfico nos países lusófonos e fazer um levantamento histórico sobre as reformas que já ocorreram com a Língua Portuguesa. Também se pretende fazer uma relação com o ensino de língua portuguesa, com o intuito de saber como o Acordo está sendo recebido nas escolas e, demonstrar as dificuldades e vantagens que são encontradas no ensino atualmente. O estudo será predominantemente bibliográfico, pois deverá demonstrar um histórico sobre a ortografia da língua portuguesa, desde o século XII até os dias atuais, além de demonstrar relatos e opiniões de diversas fontes, como professores e críticos, jornais, revistas, entre outros.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this article is to investigate the current situation of the new agreement spelling in Portuguese-speaking countries and to make a historical survey on the reforms that have already occurred with the English language. Also if you want to make a connection with the teaching of the Portuguese language, in order to know how the agreement is being received in schools and, demonstrate the difficulties and advantages that are found in education today. The study will be mainly bibliographic, because should demonstrate a history about the spelling of the Portuguese language, from the 12th century to the present day, as well as demonstrate reports and opinions from various sources, such as teachers and critics, newspapers, magazines, among others.
